Coupon Math

Engage students with two reproducible Resources that offer "hands-on" math practice. Students make "real-world" purchasing decisions, compare prices of similar products and services at different stores, use coupons to make purchases, and calculate the benefits of using them versus not using them. Each Resource includes full-color, realistic coupon flyers for solving "real-world" problems and extension activities. Resource 2 also includes coupon mailers. The activities are ideal for individual, partner, or small group work to reinforce number operation problems with multiple steps.

Resource 1 Covers five units with activities that use coupons to solve addition and subtraction problems. Also includes three copies of a full-color, 16-page coupon flyer.

Resource 2 A higher level with activities that students will use to solve addition and subtraction as well as multiplication problems. Includes over 100 activity sheets with assessments; examples and guided practice pages to model new skills; adaptive worksheets in each unit for students who need structured steps laid out to complete problems; reproducible coupons and coupon mailers; three copies of a full-color, 8-page coupon flyer; 10 coupon mailers; and extension activity suggestions.
